In December of 2013, we attended Maria Tatar's lecture at the Getty Museum. Her topic was "Beauties Sleeping and Beauties Awake: Fairy Tale, Myth, and Visual Culture," and the experience inspired us to develop English 61: Introduction to the Fairy Tale. We are English Professors Tim Cramer and Dana Del George, and we have enjoyed team teaching this course since 2015.
